Remote Starter

There had been some discussion in a previous thread of how the feature of the radio remaining on after the ignition is turned off until the door is opened is lost when a remote starter is installed. Just had a CodeAlarm (Model F50/F55) brand remote car starter/door unlocker installed, long range antenna version, for $169.00. To my knowledge, no features were lost, unit works exceptionally well.

I have had an alarm in for over two years now and have never had any issues with lossing anything. Who ever said you would must not have been very informed. I did not even losr the use of the factory remote or security system.
