Guest bdl Posted November 16, 2007 Share Posted November 16, 2007 I have a 38' coupe and the cars problem is somtimes it jumps out of gear and I have to double clutch to keep from grinding the gears. Matt Harwood Posted November 18, 2007 Share Posted November 18, 2007 There are no replacement synchros for these cars. Sometimes a NOS set might show up on eBay, but they're quite rare. Jumping out of gear might be remedied by adjusting the linkage and making sure all the bushings are in good shape inside the transmission. You can also replace many of the internal parts of the transmission like the roller bearings on the input shaft to help alleviate the jumping out of gear. Your best bet on finding synchros is to find a good parts car and take the transmission out of it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
