Dave_B
I picked up this timing gear at Hershey this year but I want to be sure what it is for. From what I can make out someone wrote on the box in pencil 32-35 Buick 90 oversize. Stamped on the gear is what looks like a part # 187-1-60. It also has the # 7 3 30 on it. OD of the gear is 7 9/16", shaft OD is 1 1/4". Stamped on the box is the date 1936. From all this it looks like it is for 32-35 series 90, but why not a 1931-90? What does oversize mean? I don't have a parts book covering those years so any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dave
Dave_B
One more question. Don't the 1932 thru 35 80 series and 90 series cars share the same engine? Possibly more years?ThanksDave
