I'm a new member and am dismantling a 48 Continental cpe for restorration. Does anyone know a painless way to remove the trim around the windshield and back glass without bending them up.

Also I need the following parts:

Antenna

battery box

motor mounts compleat (had a caddie eng)

R. trunk support

bezel for starter button

stainless for rear fender lips (both)

stainless for R fender

Thanks in advance Steve 804 3506691

I removed the stainless around the front and rear glass by tapping it down gently using a paint stir stick to avoid marring the metal. Start at the ends (top center). Once started, I used a screw driver to twist and pry the remainder off. Be careful at the corners. You may have to use the stir stick and tap it to start around the corners. It appears that a glue was used at the factory to keep it in place. The years have let the glue fail in most places, but some still remains, so be careful.
