Dons Buicks
I have been a member now for a little over a year but have not yet participated much. I will probably fumble around some.I have many questions but will start with floor pans for a 39 buick. In reading through the postings it seems like when floor pans are mentioned than no one responds. Is there someone out there that is producing these for that vintage of Buick? Guest imported_Thriller
Your best bet may be to get real friendly with a good body man / welder / machinist who can make something decent.Personally, I worry less about floor pans than other panels - they get covered up pretty well from above generally and I don't think I need perfection. If I'm replacing floor pans, the odds are it won't turn into a really high points car, although sufficient funds can do that.
Mark Shaw
Don, This forum is probably your best bet to find them if they exist. Or, you may get some other members to join you in making a production run for less $$.
Dons Buicks
Thanks for the reply, I did find out from a local member that he was able to use Chevrolet pans on his 38 with a little modification. Thanks again
