a/c and heater in default/defrost mode

already checked vacuum and lines, and valve no fix......any ideas?? air only comming out of defrost vents.

Not doubting you but that's a vac leak somewhere. There are 2 lines inside passenger compartment. One goes to the ? right where they come in and the other all the way to the right side.

It can be a leak just about anywhere under the hood.

I had the this problem a while back, except mine was when you stepped on the gas the a/c air went to the defrosters and when you stepped on the brake the a/c air went to the main vents.

My guy at the shop changed a $5.00 vent on the vacuum line and it was fixed.

But I have to admit that was about the stanges thing I have had happen on my TC.

found it, up under the dash-thanks for the help, a/c now r134 works great!!!
