harry yarnell
As suggested by this list, I bought from Pep Boys, the Superior leather steering wheel cover, and am very pleased. The grey is pretty spot-on for color, it does take a few hours to install, but it looks and feels great. About $15.
Guest
I painted my steering wheel with leather/vinyl dye spray paint. It has held up for about a year but starting to break down a little. I will not do it again. I think the best permanent solution is to have it redone by someone that does interiors if possible. Otherwise the leather cover is an alternative. I bought one of those but it is beige and doesn't match the saddle interior. I haven't put it on the car yet. That will likely be my next try until I can find an upholstry shop that can redo it back to original. B. Pate
Guest EDBS0
Additional color coats and clear coat can also be applied as a top coat for added durability.
