Dino
I was driving along, in a rainstorm on the highway, when all of a sudden I heard a loud sound, like a tire blowing out, then the car started to shudder. I pulled over to the side of the road and checked for a blowout, but all the tires were intact and inflated. When I tried to drive off, I couldn't get the car to go over about 25 MPH without the shuddering restarting. Any ideas what this might be and if it's okay to drive to a garage or do I need a tow? I just had about $1600.00 of work done on gas lines, new fueltank and fuel pump unit about two weeks ago. Could this be something to do with fuel injectors? Don B.
Check and see if all the spark plugs are there. Then look under the car for a broken body mount.
