For Sale: Remy System Model 165 Ignition Generator. This is the generator for lights, and the magneto ignition system for the car rolled into one. Complete, turns over good. Comes with extra cap and a few small parts. Believed to be for 1915-16 REO. Good condition for its age, though it does have a crack in the top cover (see photo). $150 + Shipping. I'm new here, but I've been a member of the SDC for a long time. While driving my light six yesterday, the rear axle carrier assembly had a catastrophic disintegration. The ring & pinion are badly chewed up and the spider gears are just crushed metal bits in the bottom of the housing. Anybody have any leads on a rear axle assembly for a 24 light six? Thanks
