try JC405 its a Baldwin # i found in my cross ref book

i had a modified 351 at work that kept on blowing mufflers and it would back fire after ya let off the trottle. i ran the engine at high throotle and ran ATF through it. it smokes like hell but it is suppose to clean up carbon build up on valves and pistons. don't know if it helps just given ideas. sorry 4 the bad spelling.

my 51 carb kit came without a dashpot looks like a accelarator pump. ifound a place to rebuild them but it is expensive. any ideas would be great.

i have a 51 desoto. i'm rebuilding the carb. the only thing that don't come in the kit is the dash pot,looks like a accelarator pump.any one with ideas were 2 get one.the leather is all dry rotted.i found one place 2 rebuild them but it is exppensive. thanx if you can help.
