I have a 91 T/C v6. I have the top off eleven months of the year. I take the car to a reliable gas station for the oil changes, as for any major work I am lucky to live close to Hemi (DR. T/C) in Ventura who services my car. I have driven my car as a daily driver for 15 plus years and no problems. Have over 180 K miles, still looks like new. Enjoy the ride.

It sounds like you also need new struts for the tonneau cover so you don't have to use your elbow. It should just pop up. You can order them on e-bay cheep.

The car you looked at was in El Cajon, The pristiene one is in Rancho Santa Fe, seller is in Vista. There is some distance from El cajon to Vista.

Is wednesday the last day of the buyback? If it is going to the junk yard can I come up and swap out someof the parts? Like the grill and head light? Is there a later day to see the car, this week? I am down here in San Diego. Interested.

I have and it is a bear of a job. You can order the part from your dealer. sliding that back in the groove may be the hard part, use some soap and water or it may just slide in . One side went very easy, the other was harder. Good luck.

I had the same problem. Mine went out at 123K. replaced the gear works fine.

The same way you released it. Just use the lug wrench and give it a slight turn.

I had my local Chrysler dealer put a new one in for $1500. With a 100,000 mile and 5 year warrenty. The person who installed it was a former TC owner and worked on them when they came off the boat (the TC's) from Italy.
