thanks alan(twincamfan) for intrest. and yes i did take some heat from the purist. to each his own. my hobby is making my tc's unique. as far as the grills on two mfy tc's. i found a old sears airconditioner cover in ajunk yard and cut out two grills to fit the inside of front grill. paintd one, chrome the other, because of the lovering one side up thicker look, the other down thiner look. will try and post pictures. if they do not come thru will schrink and repost tomorrow. u571 has any ever heard of replaceing 6cyl with hemi i inquired with a pro mechanic and was told no way it would fit ? majmx yes the pipes can be hooked up live need special convertor. will post pictures of new side pipe red tc in a few day's thanks for intrest.

have 4 tc 's in st.louis mo. last year i stopped at a coustom sun roof place while in the process of having a black fabrick top put on a extra top i purchased, and was informed that flber tops were not be gauranteed not to leak. so i passed. black fabrick top has fantastic luxury look. 4tc's three different tops 12 different tc looks have two hoist in garage. i have fun changing looks every couple day's. any extra tops in st. louis area please contact always looking too buy mrk813@charter.net

i have have 4 tc's and have rechecked the pictures on ebay and i gess i'am blind but still canot see no accumulator! am i the only one on all mine thier very promiment on four cyl 1989 what gives?

to change and brighten up the front of your tc's. just purchase chrome flexable door protectors at any auto stores aprox. 2.50 per set three sets needed. cut to size lenght and press on already has glue attached. angle cut around pental and box cut bottom piece in center picture example shown mrk813@charter.com

bob the the picture of the top you are refering to is a extra hard top i purchased since i have 4 tc's and had recovered in black velvet micro fiber to simulate original soft top. thus 4tc's x 3tops = 12 different looks to 4 car's thanks for intrest. any question's email me at mrk813@charter.com

on my 2.2 turbo 1989 i replaced the acumulator, bled brakes, and the red brake light kept coming on very faintly took to a brake specialist who ran a series of computer test. was informed by him just a flaw in design. light will go out when i pump brakes aprox. 10 times for awhile. then comes on faintly again. fuses and box not over heating or acumulator both new. brakes work great! that light being on even faintly bothers me. any sugestion's whole system was replaced three years ago! help!

on two of my 4 tc's i run 16' on front and 17' on back to try and offset sloped portal hard top to rear ever notice soft top not like that. never had any problems! on other tc's runing 16' on all four no problems. you also might try running same rim sizes but with different height tires example:205/50R16 on front 215/60R16 on rear am trying this example on my next tc purchase looking for burgandy/burgandy st. louis area good luck!

thanks for all the replies on oil problems! very intestering!turned out sending unit was bad simple replacement. understand oil pump normally dosent go bad,what weight oil to use jury still out. still showing low oil pressure when sitting at stop lights ect but imeditally climbs when stepping on gas.new question? have 4 tc's three with after market chrome wheels considering spoke wheels. told i would have to use a adapter for spoke wheels. don't like the idea of adapters. anyone whith comments on past experiences please reply thanks again for past help to all.

where is the oil pressure sending unit located on car do not have manual on 2.2 thanks everyone will use heavier oil after finding sending unit and testing

on my 2.2 turbo2 auto oil pressure gage starts out fine and read's fine after about 10 minutes gage drops when idleing or shows low pressurs unless on highway any idea's anyone all my other tc's are 3.0S i am gessing oil sending gage or bad oil pump don't know location of either. any idea's thank you

not all of what you see may be fake i own 4 tc's and all of them have some custom fender treatment. personally i wood never put fake one's on my car's one of mine has original buick port holes cut into the fender over 5 years ago before they became trendy the others have maserati qutrophe air ports cut into fender and the others early thunderbird hash marks drilled in . you would be surprised at the comments i recieve!one gentleman upon exiting a thrift store exclaimed!i don't koow what type car that is but i know it's no sh---n buick to each his own !
