Is this the long black aluminum one on the rocker panel? If it is I may be interested. I have a ralative in VA.that may be able to pick it up for me. Yes, the rope seal can be done in the car. It is a very tricky job that needs lots of patience and experience. I have done many way back in the day when it common to do them. BUT. I would pull the engine and install a modern rope seal in it. I've done these and they don't leak or real minor weepage if installed correctly.

I think I paid in the range of 250.00 with shipping. Still a bargain for these as a set. Been searching and was settling for less quality of used ones for more money.

Bought a set of his center caps for my 66 Riv and they fit and look perfect. Very satisfied with them.
