  1. Is the switch @ the throttle linkage the same or different than the one used for a none switch pitch th400? Dale
  2. I have a complete set of rocker and wheel well stainless trim. removed from a 68 leSabre 2 door coupe. 14 pieces in all. All pieces are are in great shape with no dents or dings, and were removed with extreme care. Came from a Garland Texas car that sat in storage for 14 years. All pieces are solid but will need to be polished. Set includes 2 front wheel well 2 rear wheel well drivers and passenger rocker panel between front and rear wheels drivers and passenger rocker panel aft of rear wheels 6 smaller pieces that make up the space between the rocker and whell well trim. NOTE Wildcat rear wheel well trim will be different as the Wildcat had rear skirts $150.00 + shipping takes all Dale BCA #41611
  3. So then the wiring for the sitch pitch is tied to the same accuator as the the kick down? Dale
  4. Hey Greg, Your 60 leSabre has been my screen saver for the last couple of weeks, a beautiful car. I read your daughters story in the Bugle. My own daughter was inspired to send one in as well. She's only 8 but she seems to be genuinely interested in the car project. I put her on the dremel tool and let her go nuts on some random part, it seems to give her great satisfaction. I'll keep my eyes open for any 70 stuff as I make my searches. Regards, Dale
  5. All good information. I'm with you on the less is more philosophy. it was never my goal to try and install every single option available. I just want to add a few things that could be easily removed ie. skirts /road wheels for judging at sanctioned events. My goal is athenticity. The power antenna I thought would just be a huge convenience when covering the car and A/C because it gets hot in Georgia and I plan on driving the car. I would'nt think there would be a clearence problem with the skirts in that the skirts would come from a Wildcat as well as the wheels. Dale
  6. Ya now I remember. That eight track is a thing of beauty, It's definetly on the holy grail of 67 buick parts list. I only hope that you still have one, when I have the money. Workwise, a long, slow year last year but this one is starting out with a bang, so maybe sooner than later. I only just got far enough ahead to purchase my welder a few months ago, but since then I've been making tremendous progress. I had no money and nothing but time so everything that was to be welded was prefitted to within an inch of it's life. Every thing is coming together so well that I'm truely inspired and comitted more than ever to the project, heck my wife and kids are even getting interested and wanting to help out. Where's Mars? I was born in Roaring Springs and grew up around Altoona and then later Erie before the military. Regards, Dale
  7. Thanks Guys, One more thing. Is it accuated from the kick down at the throttle linkage or by some other seperate accuator? Sorry, a tree was growing through this car in a field in Indiana a few years ago and there was'nt much of her left to go on. Dale
  8. Bumper is in great condition with only a few storage blemishes that are too small to photograph. Will trade for great rechrome or NOS 67 leSabre/Wildcat rear bumper or other NOS 67 leSabre parts of equal value. Dale BCA #41611
  9. I have NOS in box (although opened) tail light bezels for a 1967 Wildcat will trade for NOS 1967 leSabre bezels or other NOS parts for leSabre of equal value. Dale BCA #41611
  10. Hey Keith, I think you're the guy that answered my questions about the A/C installation a while back. I just finished seam sealing all the welds a few days ago. Essentially all the rust repair from the door openings to the front on the tub are complete along with a new A/C firewall. I guess I'm going to have to settle and run the Electra wheel covers for judging purposes and save the road wheels and skirts for Saturday nights. It's just more important to me that the car remain accurate. Thanks again and I'll send you my Mailing info. Regards, Dale
  11. I'm not sure on your year but the lower window trim should slide off as it's attached with small slide clips. As for the door stuff remove the window first, then remove the window track and hardwear, then the vent window assembly, then the handle, latch and lock. hope it helps, Dale
  12. A few questions Is it worth saving? Are there reliability or parts availability problems? Does it work well from a drivers perspective? What exactly does it do in terms of vehicle performance? I read in a recent issue of hemmings that a restoration shop advised a 67 Electra owner to install a different torque converter while all the other work was going on. I?m getting close to tranny rebuild time on my own project and I need to make some decisions. The car wasn't running when I bought it so I don't know if I should save it or not. Thanks for any help, Dale BCA #41611
