  1. On my 1955 Roadmaster, It sat a while-- like 5 months-- and when I went to start it, the starter sort of growled or grunted, but no more.  I figured the battery was dead, so charged it, or at least tried to, and it would not charge.  So-- new battery--same noise.  I jumped the battery post on the solenoid

to the other one and got only a spark, no noise at all.

Any help would be appreciated,  Earl B.

The third car could be a Stude, with a bent rear left fender.

My father turned the car over once...  Makes me wonder even moreso if it is my grandfather's car.

  3. If anyone can identify these cars and year made, I'd certainly appreciate it.  The picture was taken in 1934.  The cars look to be about 10 years older to me.  The third car looks like my grandfather's 1922 StudebakerSpecial Six, but, I may be wrong.  thanks to all who can help, Earl B.

  4. The photograph this car is from was taken in 1912.  I'm pretty sure the car is earlier.  Anyone have any ideas on the make of the car and the year of manufacture?  Many thanks,Earl

  5. Well, believe it or not, I'm working on the Roady some.  Some friends helped me get the bent up hood off as well as the old hinges and springs... well, the springs are ok... just not the hinges...

The springs are painted redish...  I think they may have been Cherokee red.  Nothing else under there is red, so, I'm wondering if this is original?  If it was a spray bomb job, someone sure was neat and NO overspray, and that's why I'm wondering if it's original.  HELP.....

and I'll thank you in advance for the help!  Earl
