Nash Suburban, they produced 1,000 of them from '46 through '48. Beautiful cars!

That's a really beautiful pic, John.
Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks Clovers!
I wasn't born till '57, but these have been faves since my teens. Taos Turquoise squeals '50's, and it's going to be a fun car. Keep up your pic posting; we never know what will come next from you!
Thanks again,

Neat pix Brian,

Thanks Pat,
Yes, the pix were taken at the M-B Museum in Stuttgart in October, 2009, the same weekend as Hershey. A great place to visit, BTW!

Beautiful, strong image of your Monte Carlo, Laurent!

I agree, but all of GM's offerings were pretty nice in '34, too!

This is the postwar modified version of the original Topper car. I just ran across (and posted) a period photo of the car during the Rubber Scrap Drive.

Hey Randy,
You really know how to get us going with pix like this! How'd ya do it?

West, it only took me 4 years to correct, so thanks for pointing out the misinformation. The car's sign at Amelia 2009 led one to believe that it was The Car of the Dome, but is actually the ex-Harrah car, which I saw in '68 on a family visit to his Reno collection.
