  1. Barney; FYI The 1991 Buick Ultra was supercharged using the same motor.
  2. But, I only have ONE Reatta.
  3. I repeat. What about the gear for the ABS?
  4. There's only one problem with Ronnie's idea. What about the gear for the ABS?
  5. I had the same idea. Got my spare spring from J. Finn. Now I thinking of trying the shackle idea. First Idea was to drill a hole thru the spring, put a plate on top and on the bottom of the cross member and use a piece of threaded stock thru. Then use a lock nut on the top and one on the bottom. (I am not sure of drilling a hole in the spring) The only other way to do it would to make two L shaped pieces out of threaded stock and hook them over the spring, drill two holes in the cross member. Run a plate under the cross member with two holes lined up and put nuts on them . What do you think?
  6. Yes, Handmedown, That's what I was thinking. You might get a rough ride but it could work. I also was going to try and shave the leaf down to 3" across just after the mounting and see if that would weaken it enough to lower it. If I used a shackle type of pull down I am wondering if the spring ends would bottom out against the suspension?
  7. 89 reddarkgrey; That would be great IF they had anything that would fit. But they don't even list Buick.
  8. That would work if you could find some that would work on the Reatta.
  9. That won't work, It will raise the car. The only way to lower it is to remove some of the ark for the spring.
  10. Ok, What about removing the rubber blocks and cutting them in half the long way, and putting the cut piece on the top of the spring?
  11. Has anyone lowered the rear suspension, or tried to? I would like to hear from anyone who has attempted to. I have some ideas, but would like other input.
  12. Which adx file would that be?
  13. I have turnerpro Rt and the cable. anything else?
  14. Gentlemen; What program or file do I need to make the "Turnerpro" work in my car?
  15. I would like some information about the T.V. Cable. In the manual it states that when the throttle is wide open the slider on the T.V. cable must ratchet. I would like to know what the purpose is? and if it does not, what is wrong?
  16. If that is the case, then why is it rusted at all?
  17. If you wait long enough it will rust enough to fall out on it's own.
  18. Upper right hand corn er in the dark blue bar.
  19. You have something draining you battery when it si shut down. Remove the neg cable and put a volt meter between the terminals and see what it reads. It should not be more than .020 volts. The other problem sound like a heat caused shut down. Check your coils and your ICM.
  20. anyone, Where do you find the two different buttons for the cam. I used the original one but now that I plan on changing the timing gear and rebuilding the oil pump I would also like to replace the button. Jon..
  21. Thanks Ronnie. I didn't know there were two different buttons.
  22. No, Not having any problems. I am considering rebuilding the oil pump this winter and figured I would replace the timing gears and chain and cover. Ronnie do you have the button on the Reatta store?
  23. Thanks Ronnie. Do you think that the steel gear could weaken the magnet at all? Jon..
  24. There is an article on line that claims that the steel gear causes the magnet to weaken quickly. It recommends using the original alum w/ nylon gear unit. It also claims the original gear was alum. w/ nylon gears.
