Hi there, I have a question?? I have a 1989 Reatta and the previous owner of my car installed a R134 into my car. I'm wondering if I can charge it myself?? I have charged my Explorer with NO PROBLEM....my only worry is with all of the electronics controlling the compressor is it a problem doing it yourself?? Currently, my a/c sensor has a low reading and I would hate for it not to work. Any advice would be appreciated!!!

Brenda, Who would your mechanic in Illinois be?? I have some work that needs to be done on my Reatta. I live in the Milwaukee area and if he is in the Chicagoland area, I could just drop my car off and have him go at it. Thanks Greg

Hello Again, I have a question about what I need to do to recharge my A/C?? I have a 1989 Reatta and the previous owner had a R134 installed into this car. I keep getting a low a/c reading all the time and I would like to recharge it myself. With all the computer stuff...how would I go about doing a simple job like this. All input would be appreciated!!! Greg

Hi there, I'll give you a bit more information regarging my car...it drained when the car is not running. I have read some previous problems others have had with a crank motor draining when the car is off. Would anyone know how to find out if this could be the problem. Thanks

Hi there, I'm the owner of a 1989 Reatta..155,000....Silver...My problem is with the headlights crank draining my battery. I have to manually crank the lights up and down, but I would like to solve this problem ASAP!!! First of all, what would the problem be and how much would it cost to solve it?? I'm not a very car savy person when it comes to repairs.....I hope someone can give me a hand on this one. Thanks, Greg
