I have an exhaust leak right bank in my 390 ci 2 barrel engine. Mechanic says he cannot remove bolts from either the manifold or heads, they are seized that bad. Mechanic is very experienced with all cars but says he has never seen them this bad. Has anyone out there ever run into similar problem? I guess only alternative is to 1) run the car the way it is until engine needs rebuilt (103,000 miles)but runs fine, or 2) bite the bullet and pull heads and take to machine shop and helicoil any damage? Any ideas appreciated. Money is a consideration, as I am currently knee deep in another project! Thanks, galaxieman

That is a nice car! My grandfather drove only Buicks and he would have been proud to have that baby! I had my 67 Ford out today after dropping in a set of spark plugs. Getting there, can't wait till it warms up a little more so I can start polishing and detailing it.

I was there also, weather was great, saw the cars, met Barry Meguiar, took pictures of Bobby Allison as he rode into downtown Fernandina Beach and my wife and I were even interviewed by Meguiar for an upcoming tribute to Bill Smith! (He spotted my Hershey Region shirt). My wife even handed a Hershey Region wooden nickel to Allison! We had a blast. We were there last year too.

Hi, I am new to this list and just became the owner of a very nice 67 Ford Galaxie 500 convertible with the 390 engine. A very nice driver, not a trailer queen. One question: it is lacking a fan shroud and I have been unable to find one in any of the catalogs or on eBay. Can anyone help me?
