  3. if you can go with the manual choke do so!It is less to go wrong, while giving you more options at higher elevations,as well as useful to get one out of ditches-ask the Jeep owners. For show , electric choke would be good looking,no hole in dashboard for choke knob-we do recommend you never let go of your AFB, one of the greatest carbs ever MFG-thanks,pi
  4. Greetings-- after selling any antique kit,we always give our customers "tips" - thought we would pass this on- 1.Replace all hoses/clean or replace fuel filters 2.Purge your fuel lines-this will wash out the debris that has collected on top of the fuel pump diaph.-after collecting your fuel, use childs magnet and feel for metals/sand/etc: gas tank may need replaced/repaired 3.If possible, fill your new rebuilt with gas, this will stop the fuel pump from producing more PSI than it was designed for thus preventing needle and seat damage- 4.Debris/heat are what kill carbs-keep your carb cool as well as fuel lines In the early days these tips were used by mechanics to stop "returns" and prevent carbs from flooding when first starting up the engine after installing the rebuilt carb--thanks,pi thanks,pi
