Hi, I'm new to the group, and new to TC's. My understanding is that the 1990 vintage TC alternator is controlled by the computer? I have a TC that is not charging the battery. Is there a procedure for troubleshooting so I can tell if I need the $140 alternator or the $250 computer? I'd rather buy only one or the other. Noah
