That was the main reason that I painted my royal cab, the top had turned milkey on top and I was afraid that if I painted it the same color that it might not match. The rest of the car paint was real good.

Yes I have a royal cab that I changed the top color to tan that chnges color depending how the sun hits. It goes from a tan close to the interier to a soft silver. It really looks great, It also brings out the burgandy, not soo much of it. This is on a 89, and I also have a 89 red, But feel that I should leave it alone. I had this car at the nationals in Laughlin in 2003.

I am all for that. They both have been life savers for all of our TC problems. I know they have really helped me.

I donot know why, but it seems the tires have a dendency to cup out.I have two 89"s one red and one royal cab. and have had trouble with both car tires cupping and making a rumbling noise. The sound makes you think the cause is any where except the tires. I noticed the problem with different brand tires, so I am convinced that the car is the cause and not the tire. Maybe it is just my two cars as I have not heard any other owners complain of this problem. SURLEY NOT. Bill

This may seem weird, but I had the same type problem with a red 89 that I bought. I changed the cvs had it checked out completely and could not find the trouble. The tread on the tires looked very good, but as a last resort I put on a new set of tires and it drove like new and quite as a mouse. Bill

THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION OF THE HEATER CORE REPLACEMENT. lOOKS LIKE I MIGHT NEED EXTRA HELP OR SOME REAL WORM DAYS TO COMPLETE THE JOB. I DID DRILL A 1/16 HOLE IN THE THERMOSTATE ALSO BY PASSED THE CORE, BUT WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE HEATER WORKING AS I LIVE IN OKLA AND IT GETS PRETTY COLD AT TIMES..I ALSO HAVE ANOTHER 89 TC THAT I CAN DRIVE, BUT YOU KNOW HOW IT IS , WE WANT EVERYTHING TO WORK. BILL

This is my first post allthough I hAVE read every post every day for several months. I CANT HELP YOU WITH YOUR SEAT PROBLEM, BUT I REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF A PROBLEM YOU HAD WITH YOUR HEATER CORE AND WHAT DID YOU HAVE TO DO IN REPAIRING IT. DID YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE COMPLETE DASH. I HAVE A 89 THAT THE HEATER CORE LEAKS. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED.
