  4. Hi My Radiator tanks have been butchered, rather than remove these by sweating them off the core, they were cut off with a grinder and then coper plates sweated to rejoin them (messy and leaky!) The core has also been remade in the back yard and is 5 times heaver than a correct core. The plates are made of 1mm (rather than .7mm) and there are only 8 plates to the inch rather than 10 or 11. The amount of solder used in the core would hold the Queen Mary steady! So it is heavey, leaky and is only good for short runs. I have an 1911 Cadillac core for templates but no tanks. I've spoken to the people in NZ about a new core but they could not give me either a time frame nor cost estimate and wanted my spare core as a sample something I was concerned about never getting back. I anyone has either top or bottem tanks for an early V8 it would help me greatly. Thanks Russell
  5. WTB Radiator 1915 - 1921 Cadillac Hi I'm looking to buy a early V8 Cadillac radiator for my 1918 Caddy Any Help appericated. Russell
  6. Drip Oiler 6 point , Lavigne circa 1900 - 1904. Lavigne Mfg Co. Detroit Michigan Rare Veteran oiler. Item number: 280305530768 Excellent working condition with no cracks or chips, I had this oiler on my 1902 Thomas until I purchased a correct Thomas oiler at Hershey this year. This oiler was a generic brand used on mostly high end early cars. When I purchased it, there was photo of two of these mounted on a 1904 American Mercedes Racer. The oiler can be adjusted from 1 drip per minute to a constant flow, I had it set for 12 drips to the mains and cylinder and 4 to the chains and camshaft. I fully cleaned it and replaced the gaskets before placing it on my car, so it will only need a flush and clean oil to be ready to be used. Despite EBay new list specifaction (which do not allow internation seller to have shipping optionsto the USA) We do ship world wide! Thanks Russell

  8. Hi Kean Thanks for the photo. The car is a Thomas but a 1903 model 18, ours is the model 17 which was the first run that E R Thomas did after taking over the management of the buffalo Auto Co, (he was already the major shareholder) and re-naming it the E R Thomas Motor Co. They introduced the first ?Flyer? model in 1904. Ours is general regarded as the oldest Thomas known to still exist. I know the detailed history of our car from 1962 till now and sketchy history form about 1948, I was hoping this photo may have solidified something?s but alas not! Thanks again any way.

  15. Hi Steve You may recall I had a CDO Light Delivery Van that now resides in PA. I looking at purchasing a 1904 FF Runabout here in OZ and would like to talk to owners about the differance between 7 & 10HP motors and gearboxes etc. I'm aware of the chassis lenght differance and know the 7 & 10's were straonger built than the CDO but otherwise not much. Would like motor #'s also to confirm that it is an 1904 and there is a spare motor with it so confirm to year as well. I still have some CDO info but no French Front stuff. Any help would be appericated. Russell
