Originaly the drivers side went under the motor and connected back into the pass side before going out- thats why the manifold exits forward on driverside. Not sure on 56 but my 57 had duals and theres two notches in the tranny crossmember for them- maybe single cars might have a different crossmember? good luck

You need to remeber that ebay concentrates interest very well. How many buyers at a swapmeet or local auto trader are looking for a 57 olds? How many people on ebay are looking for 57 olds? Kinda like there clock tv add except its a ton of people looking for the same clock and one guy selling it instead of how they represent it. Generaly accepted prices mean nothing to people who are not part of the group who comes up with #1's, etc.. Ebay is for selling not buying if you can help it $$ good luck with the leg work

It's in yorba linda in about 70% body work stage, motor and drivetrain are done, most of the chrome is done and all new front and side glass are done. Got one that's just collecting dust and leaking on your floor? Needs to be 55 98 model only for my needs in my olds. Apparently a 55 88 has a diferent tailshaft that causes problems with my 57 frame/floor. Just a young guy looking to try and build one up himself - if it's worth allot to you then it's too much for my budget. I can only pick up from about a two hour trip area from orange county.
