A "shady Dodge Brother" --- impossible.
Also, if anyone wants an address of a member who owns a specific car, all they have to do is go to the 2011 DB Club Roster.

I'd like to know in advance when they are driving down my street -- I'll put my '25 DB in the middle of the driveway !!!

Signed in this AM --- no problem!

Definitely a coach. I also have the Fisher Body emblem as you show on the second last photo. My car's wood floor is stamped:
Fisher Body Corp Detroit
Job 6H0 No 12 8 17
FYI my e-mail address is fmf17@aol.com

I own a '25 Fisher Body Coach. Is your car a coupe or a coach? Both these body styles were made for DB by Fisher.
As far as the coach is concerned, it was only made in 1925 and half of 1926. Click on my name on the left and you can view my car. If you have a coach, there are not too many around (that I'm aware of).
Can you post some photographs?

Yes, in addition to the coupe Doug mentioned, Fisher also supplied a 2 door coach body to DB in 1925 and half of 1926.

I'm impressed --- keep the pictures coming.

I'm really not interested in changing my car's suspension but I'd like to see how these "snubbers" are installed. I never heard of snubbers until this post.

What shocks?
My '25 only has leaf springs.

Try this guy - he had 3 original window cranks for my '25 coach:

Just curious -- what was the last year DB used the vacuum tank?

TKB, check your e-mail.

Glad your problem is resolved --- enjoy your DB this weekend.

When was the last time you oiled the bearing on the rear of the starter/generator? I used to have a similar problem (occurred in the winter). When I pushed the starter, you could hear it was trying to crank. Oiling the bearing solved this problem (actually I added a little grease also).

Why is it necessary to add the two tubes of grease? I only use 600 W steam cylinder oil and have no problem with gear grinding (unless I hurry the shifting).
The addition of grease must make it really tough to shift in cold weather. It's tough enough using just the 600 W oil. Also I always double clutch and start out in 2nd gear.

Check out the "GARAGE" section of this web site for a DB color chart.
I was told the color of the wood wheels is the same as the body paint color.
