  1. This body has many similarities with a Chevy of this year. I am confident that this year and earlier Buicks shared Chevy bodies in lower lines. I don't like to Buick's "low priced" lines. Windows, trunk, front and rear glass could be swapped. Frank T.

  4. My thanks to you Paul Meyer, and the BCA Board for making the effort and taking the time to restore our publication to the interests of the membership ,and directing it to the history of the cars we care about; for seriously considering suggestions and making them work, and for giving us a better Bugle. I also want send cudos to Pete Phillips - Pete, we must get together some day, I want to thank you personally for making the book something that will hold the interest of members young and old. I am sure that your work will also draw new, and more members to the Bugle. Pete, you and I knew these ideas would work, and give a lift to the Bugle and the membership. Yes, I am excited about the NEW Bugle, and I am sure the membership agrees. My thanks to you all !! Frank Tarpey BCA 6209

Hi Scotty, Sorry it took me so long for a come-back, but typos and such are just the tip of the iceberg here and the powers that be refuse to listen to anyone but what you might call "insiders". I spent 40 years in graphic art with top agencies, designers and photographers, and the BCA Board just doesn't want to here it! Sorry old friend, but you are just wasting your time here. Remember when the this vendor came to a board meeting and demanded and extension of his contract? The board rolled over on that one, the vendor took the 5-year contract to the bank and financed new presses and equipment. ( Is this NFP Corporation in the business of financing vendors? )But the board will not listen to "outside experts" in the field. How do I know? Well a Board emmber attempted to present a professional opinion at the BCA Board meeting that was to pick the "new" vendor, and he would not be heard by the Chairman. So much for open meetings!! This was the Board meeting which was to pick the new vendor. Some present Board members refuse to heard bids, and claim it is a waste of (their) time. Finally, friend, anymore I attend Chapter meetings, vote, pay my dues, and don't waste my time trying to be a "good" BCA member. Frank Tarpey BCA 6209 P.S. Roberta, I really do expect to be edited out of the bulletin board, THANKS.
