Jack,
To retain emphasis on the Buicks, should it not be "trailering" Division.

Ralph,
Do you have it ready for AACA on June 29? I am looking forward to seeing it. Jon Henry and I looked at it before you and he was pondering the extraction (my choice of the word) of the car, just before you bought it..

Well said, Pete. I wish we could get your comments out to all members, not just those on the forum. So, I am challenging all members on the forum to get Pete's most logical explanation out to those that have not yet voted. I will probably write more on this, but this is Saturday evening. Also, I hate to see various "groups" trying to sway votes by mailings only to certain members based on "suggestions as what will happen if they vote for certain people". (We made to have our own Mueller investigation on illegal ballot influencing.)

Jack, Thanks for the response. I will be looking for my Bugle.

Roberta,
Because of apparent shredding of the covers, I never received my original copy of the March Bugle. I fear, the same may occur in April, perhaps not me, but other not on the forum. How would these situations be handled? Do we make a special request, and to whom, if we do not have the printed Bugle by, say April 15? By the way, lets change the mail procedure or go back to the plastic wraps. After all, someone on the BOD said we have more money than we need, as I recall.
Thank you,
John

True Ben, I believe the wiring covering was a soy based, rather then plastic based wire covering.

CTCV,
I assume you do not belong to the Free Spirit Chapter of the BCA. I would suggest that Dave Brady of Dave Interior Restorations in Emmaus at 610.065.2172, would welcome a phone call and a visit to his shop so you can have a #D view of this set up on his car. I would offer mine to see but it is in CT. I suggest bringing a camera. Feel free to mention my name.

2019 PWD ELECTION
If you are on the mailing list for the PWD, as described in this section of the forum, you should be aware we conducted a ballot for a new National Director. The results are that Brian Heil has been elected to replace Mark Shaw. If you did not receive the ballot, that means you are not on the mailing list. Please communicate back to me at j.scheib@comcast.net and I will see that you are on future mailings. Like wise, if you did receive the ballot and no longer have an interest in PWD, let me know and I will have you removed from the mailing list. We hope to hold a meeting in Midwest City in June to discuss these changes going forward. In the meantime feel free to use this thread, call me, as I served as the election committee, or Brian, or use this forum.

Congratulations Brian. Sorry I am a bit late to this party. Been awful busy with some other stuff.

Glad we got this going again. If we were able to have a true "forum breakfast" in Allentown, I was prepared to treat everyone present to a piece of true PA scrapple, also know as spam, without a can. Maybe next time, if in the NE.

Looks like the owner had a dog on his/her lap; hence the scratch marks.

Margret,
I missed the ebay auction. You wrote this the closing day of the auction. Do I understand you have sets left for sale. Could you contact me by Pm with your address and I can send a check for 4 Reatta caps.

Mark,
I have to figure out how to add a quote. Funny, perhaps the sale of the car was because you had the problem with the '38.

10 hours ago, Mark Shaw said:
Same for me Derek.
I drove the 38 from the barn to the gas station for a fill-up in preparation for a Sunday memorial cruise for loved ones lost in prior years. I had to jump start it and it was not charging properly as I drove to the gas station. I barely made it back to the barn on the low charged battery. So, we drove the GMC Caballero (currently for sale) on the cruise and actually got a nibble to sell it.
I will try polarizing the generator after recharging the battery to see if it fixes the problem.

Pete,
Hope you are getting the leftovers, at reasonable price.

Very enjoyable event, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you were not there and live in the Northeast, you missed a good time. Thank you Sally and your Chapter. Can someone please add photos?

Brian,
I am sure Larry can steer you to Jon Henry, as the two of you should meet. I will post his site location and cell phone number so you can track him down. He will be in the site of Morton Automotive and/or Academy Auto, Bristol, CT.

I am surprised that we have not seen Mark Shaw comment on this thread, but he is often on the Pre-War forum. Try to reach him for help. He live in WA near Portland, OR.
