I am getting a false low engine oil warning each time I start my 88. Can anyone tell me where this level indicator is found and if it is hard to change the part ? Also is this part usually easily available at the Buick or GM parts dealers ? I checked my service manual but still can't find the location. Thanks Rick

I have noticed when I get a false Low Engine Oil message that it recommends adding 5W 30 weight. I live in South Florida where it is very hot and have been using 10W 30. Is it recommended that I should be using the 5W 30 ?

I noticed some Reatta's with different Buick Wheels. Which model and year do these come from ? Like the ones Barney has on his car, and will they fit without any customizing ?

I need to replace the Large Speaker on the bottom of the drivers side door panel. Does the entire panel have to be removed for this or can I just "POP" out the speaker cover without any special tools ?

Has anyone had these false warings for low engine oil ? They happen occasionaly. I never had them until I recently had my oil changed.

If your motor is running then it is most likely the bushings , I changed mine and it works perfectly. The ones you find on ebay for Corvettes and Reatta's are the same. Go to www.buickreattaparts.com for hard to find parts. It is kind of a pain to change them but once it is done then you won't have any problems for the forseeable future. You will need a couple Torx screwdrivers to remove the headlight cover, if you need the sizes the guy at the mentioned website can tell you.

I replaced my Compressor and converted to the R134 and it is Ice cold. I live in South Florida and it's as hot as can be here so I'm very happy.
