  1. I have a 1990 Red Reatta For Sale which is located in Fenton, MI. It is a transportation special. My son & daughter had been driving it to school and delivering pizzas in it until the transmission went. This would make a great quick fix, or parts car because it has alot of exterior parts that are in fine condition. Front glass is nice. The brake system has no flaws which can be determined by the instrument cluster. The instrument cluster works perfectly. Fenders, hood, deck lid, doors, front bumper, and rear bumper are very nice. All glass is there. Pop-up Lights work perfectly. All glass is there, including the A frame glass. All rims and newer tires. The interior needs a good steam cleaning. Seats are worn, but functional(16-way power). Yes, the engine starts fine and works very good. It is just sitting because the transmission does not work(It took a dive 2 days ago). It has a clear title in my name. If you parted this out, you could easily get over $2500 in parts or more. I just don't have the time. Please call me if you are truly interested in hauling it away, after laying some cash in my hand ($1200 or Best). Regards, Steve steveblackmer@aol.com (810) 735-7222 Home (248) 202-0448 Cell
  2. My transmission intermittently works fine, then all of a sudden it has to rev high to switch gears. I almost feel this may happen when I have gone over a "ruff" road. Does anyone know if there is a switch or module that may be loose that would cause this effect? THANKS!!!
  3. I am in the process of replacing my son's Fender and bumper assembly on his 1990 Reatta. Can someone walk me thru the correct process for removal and installation? Thanks, Steve
  4. I will be taking digital Pics of the car Saturday afternoon. I will post a few after. Thanks for asking! StevieB
  5. I am going to be listing the following 1990 Buick Reatta Convertible up for auction on eBay, this Sunday, 6/7/05. It is White, White Top, White Mouldings, with Maroon Interior. It was delivered to the original Owner by Glen Wilson Buick Oldsmobile GMC, Inc., Fenton, MI, on Valentines Day, February 14, 1990, as a gift for the owner's wife. I am the 2nd Owner of this vehicle, which can be proved by the copy of the Title assigned to me, which comes with the purchase of this vehicle. Additionally, included in the sale is the original Window Sticker, along with the Reatta Owners? Notebook and a video from Buick Showing how to operate the Convertible Top. The Reatta Convertible currently has approximately 125,000 miles, and by looking at the vehicle, one would think that the car would be a well-kept 35,000 - 40,000 mile sports car. It is powered by General Motors? dependable 3.8 V-6, with an automatic transmission. These engines usually run over 280,000 miles without any major maintenance, especially when Mobile 1 synthetic oil was introduced to the engine block on day 1! It is loaded with all of the typical factory options, including the factory CD Radio system. The interior is in fantastic condition, the Reatta Floor Mats are not worn and neither is the steering wheel worn or sun bleached. Everything on the Reatta Convertible works to perfection, including the CD Player! The white convertible top was recently replaced, along with the struts and brakes. All fluids were changed, including the Tevis Brake System. The only thing that I have not had an opportunity to do would be to polish the rims themselves. Eventually to make this collectible car perfect, I would recommend stripping the clear coat from the rims, polishing, and reapplying clear coat. Basically, this car is in ?Drive Anywhere? Condition. I purchased this vehicle with the intention of keeping it as a Sunday Driver, and a collectible car, ??????? , but, I very unexpectedly, found a very low mileage toy (5,881 Miles) that is currently on the way (BIG $$$) to its new home, our garage. I only have a 2?car garage, and only so much disposable income for toys, and my wife expects her car in the garage! Please email or call if you are interested. I am located in Fenton, MI. I will be asking $8,000 (Remember - Asking Price) for the vehicle between now and this Sunday. On Sunday, I will be putting her on ebay, with a reserve price lower than the $8,000. If interested, ... you won't be disappointed. Regards, Steve (248) 202-0448 steveblackmer@aol.com
  6. If the Seller cut it off at $7,800, and you purchased it for a substantially higher amount, does the seller owe ebay more money???
  7. You are on target. Good Find - Her she was before - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4548345666
  8. Barney, When is the next update?
  9. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who took on the challenge of refinishing their own rims. What was the step by step procedure? What did you use to get the old coating off? If you polished the rim, what did you use? How did you paint the new coating? What materials did you use? How long did it take you to accomplish this task? Any and all help would be appreciated before I try the trial by error method. Thanks. StevieB
  10. I am refering to when the headlight closes, it does not shut all of the way down. Thanks, Steve
  11. Good Evening. My driver's side headlamp assembly does not fir properly when closed. WQhat is the procedure for effectively lowering the headlamp assembly, when fully closed, approximately 1/4"? Thanks, Steve
  12. Thanks Padgett, But I would like to have a copy of my own to reference. Thanks for advising me. Regards, Steve
  13. I just called to inquire about the manual, and I lost out. It sold for a fair market price of $50.00. If anyone has one for sale at a decent price, please let me know. Regards, StevieB
