  8. '87 Lesabre T-type for sale with 191,000 miles. This car has been sitting for 3 years and does not run. It has damage to the right front fender. This car is loaded with all power options including bucket seats with recline. This car has all the spoilers and ultra-rare body side skirts. I list the condition as "fair" because aside from some assorted small dents, the body is decent. This would be an ideal parts car or a good start for a resto if these T-types interest you. This is a limited production, 1 of 4130. It is black with the two-tone black/silver interior. I don't want to part this car out. The parts on this car alone will demand much more on E-Bay than the $300 I am asking! I have seen the decklid spoiler sell for $150 for these T-types. I have plenty of detailed pictures for your viewing. This interior would look excellent in a street rod too. Please reply at any of the following addresses for more info. Don't let this car fall victim to the crusher. Save it now! If you are not sure what a '87 LeSabre T-type looks like, click on the following link for a good website describing these cars. www.lesabret.com/thecar.html Thanks in advance! 9. Great parts car or easy resto available at a must sell price. 1 of 4123. 191k highway miles. Hasn't run in 2 1/2 years. Needs starter among other things to get it to run. The only major body damage is to the right front fender. The body otherwise is in great shape except for a few dents here and there. This car has ALL the ground effects including the rare body side skirts, rear decklid spoiler and rear bumper valance. The front air dam was pushed in by something I hit on the highway, but it is NOT cracked, and I believe it is repairable. Air dam is extremely difficult to find undamaged and I believe long discontinued from GM. This T-type is ideal for parting out, as you would reap a better return on your investment. I would rather not get involved. This would be an ideal car to restore ,if this is what you desire. The car is black with the special two-tone black/silver interior. 8-way power drivers bucket seat and power recline passenger bucket. Floor shifting console and full gauge dash panel including factory tachometer. Power windows, locks, mirrors, trunk release, and antenna are only a few of the many options you would expect this car to have. Interior would look great in a street rod or some other type of project. The LeSabre T-type would mak a nice race car too if you have the cash for the framework needed. I really don't want to part with this, but I finally came to my senses after 2 1/2 years...it will never get redone unless I hit the lottery. $350 takes it away, but I am open to any REASONABLE offers. Once again, this car is in fair condition at best, and I have nothing to hide. For more details, reply back here or to either of the following addresses, or call me. I also have many digital pics available upon request. I am located in Brick,NJ (shore area) 1 hour North of Atlantic City. Thanks! 15. Glenn, The GS 340 was a 1 year only offer from Buick in 1967. Body colors were limited to either white or platinum mist. Production was at 3692, unknown how many were of each color. Based on the Special model, not the Skylark, they were accented with a red rallye stripe from the fender louvers to the end of the rear quarters. The GS 340 also had 2 non-functional hood scoops which were red with chromed inserts. The rear decklid molding was also accented with red, and to top it all off, red 14x6 GM rallye wheels with Buick tri-shield center caps. the interior was as plain jane as you can get, bench seat with very little pattern to them or the door panels, compared to the Skylark/GS400. The 340 4 barrel was rated at 260 hp, and wasn't much of a performer. Theres not to much literature around on this model, in fact most brochures and manuals dont even list the model number of 43417. The only brochure, other than magazine ads, that I have seen in the 16 years I own mine, is called "The Machines". This gave you the breakdown on the GS340/GS400 models only. Hope I enlightened you a little about this sometime forgotten "poor man's musclecar". Feel free to e-mail me privately for more info if you're interested. Thanks for the interest, Chris By the way, any power buckets out there?

  20. Mark, Just wanted to share my experience with the Offy Dual Quad with you. I agree that there is more power to be made with the TA intake, but if you don't mind sacrificing some power for the "look", by all means do it. Ive been using the Offy Dual Quad for over 6 years now with suprisingly good results. When I put together this intake system over 10 years ago, I tried duplicating what was then no longer available from Kenne-Bell...their dual Quad set-up. They used (2) Carter Competition 750cfm AFB's. At that time Carter was out of business. Anyway I have a 67 GS with a TA 464,ported STAGE 1 heads,TA 608 HYD. cam,12 to 1's, Swich Pitch 400, 4000 stall, and 4.10 gears. I use the Edelbrock 750 manual choke carbs that I leaned out a little by changing metering rods. Hood clearance is a major concern with my 67, but I was able to fit them with small air cleaners. Linkage is another concern. I started by purchasing Edelbrock's dual quad linkage set-up just for the end fittings. Their kit is too short for the approx. 9 inch center spacing. My machinist was able to fabricate the rods for me for a progressive set-up. I run mainly off the rear carb, and the front carb will start to open around the time the seconderies are opening on the rear. Yes there is a little trial and error involved, but if cosmetics are what you're looking for ,like I was, then go for it. I drive my GS very frequently on the street, and occassionally on the highway, with no complaints at all. I wanted that 60's look in my GS at the cost of some power. Hope you make the right decision, and feel free to e-mail me anytime for more info if I can help.Check out my engine shot on my profile. Good Luck, Chris <a href="mailto:csalsano@aol.com">csalsano@aol.com</a> <a href="mailto:christopher_salsano@kindermorgan.com">csalsano@aol.com">csalsano@aol.com</a> <a href="mailto:christopher_salsano@kindermorgan.com</a>
