Didn't have to alter the distributor remove everything including the condenser and it bolted right up.The snapped right over the lobes on the shaft didn't have to set the gap.You can loosen the rotor but loosening the screw under the rotor and turn it so it lines up

If you have a bearing distributor close by they could help.I rebuilt the trans in my 29 DeSoto and they had every thing I needed as far as bearings and they cross referenced a seal for me.

My opinion is I would pass on this one' Its been painted before and would need striped to repaint.The spokes are cracked.And the interior would be costly to fix.Just my opinon

I use a small oil filter wrench to remove mine it doesn't mark up the hubcaps.

back the nut off a little bit on the speedometer end and try that,I had the same problem a few years ago.

The horn button has nothing in it to make contact with the wire

How does the horn button make contact with the wire that comes up the steering column mine must be missing something.If I ground that wire with the column the horn will blow.:confused::confused::confused::confused:
