1. There is a set of doors with glass and mirrors on EBAY for $99. One day left and no one is bidding. Good mirrors are worth more.
Just a note... I emailed the seller and he seemed to be a bit of a wise guy. Might be why no one is bidding, but cheap enough to risk it....
 2. Looking for RH Chrome Mirror for 72 Skylark Convertible.
Thx
Joe
 3. Sorry about that Mark. Bill Gates recommended that I upgrade to XP, and the other rich guy who runs AOL got mad. Translation... My email is screwed up. Sometimes it work, sometimes it crashes.
Anyway, I'm having a hard time finding the 15" 4.75 set and I might be forced to go with the 14". I found one set, but they either didn't get my email or didn't respond. I have a few more leads that I'll check over the next day or two. I will let you know as soon as I find out if I go 14 or 15 inchs. I'm very sorry for the delay, you have been very helpful!!!
BTW... My 15x6 5" Set is still available. A set went for $212 last night on EBAY. Perhaps that's my best bet.
Thanks again,
Joe
 4. Thanks, I'll give it a shot.
Joe

 6. Hello All,
The letters on my dash for Lights, Temp, Cig lighter, etc. have disappeared due to aging. How do you fix this?
Year One has decals that cost about $80, but they keep sending the Non A/C version. Is there another option? Does anyone have originals in good shape?
Thanks
Joe
 7. I will need your zip code for a shipping estimate. Please email me at surfkurf@aol.com
Thanks
Joe
 8. I have a set of 4 Buick Chrome wheels with the Large 5" Bolt pattern for sale. I'm told that they are for the larger Buicks in the 60's or early 70's like Rivera, LaSabre, Electra, etc... They are polished and in good shape with fresh semi-gloss black paint in the center. I do not have lugs or center caps.
Please email me for Pic's or Shipping info.
Thanks
Joe
 9. Very nice guy and very helpful. Looks like my 72 might get a face lift.
Thanks
Joe
 10. Thanks everyone for all the help. I wish I asked before I bought, shipped and polished the heck out of the 5.0 rims. My hands are still sore from a week ago. I can tell I do too much typing these days and not enough real work.
If anyone finds the right set of 4 please sent them my way. I will email Mark directly for the spare.
Thanks again...
Joe
 11. Hi Mark,
The Spare tire idea may not be a bad idea. But I'm a little confused again. Doesn't take much these days with 3 screaming little girls running around. :-)
Is the bolt pattern that I need a 4.75 or a 4.5? Was that a typo or are there really 3 bolt patterns?
Thanks
Joe
 12. Hello all,
I just picked up a set of 4 Buick Chrome wheels with the Large bolt pattern for a 60's - 70's Large Buick like LaSabre. They are 15x6, and have fresh Semi-gloss Black paint in the center.
I need the Small Bolt pattern 15" Wheels for my 72 Skylark. Rookie Mistake.
Anyone have a set to swap or will consider a Buy/Sell. My center caps are still on there way, so I shouldn't need them.
Anything else I should know about before I make another frustrating mistake???
Thanks
Joe
 13. Any Chrome wheels with small bolt pattern? I have a set of 4 Large bolt pattern for a 60's or 70's LaSabre type. Hoping for trade or Buy/Sell....
 14. Do you happen to need Buick 15x6 Chrome Wheels? I got them for my 72 Skylark Convertible and just learned that the bolt pattern is for a 60's LaSabre or similar large body.
Hoping to find someone out there to trade for the right rims would be even better.
Joe
 15. Excellent. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks!
 16. Hello all,
I just picked up a set of Buick Chrome wheels for my 72 Convertible. One of the rims is missing the small metal ring on the inside of the wheel. Is this ring needed? What purpose does it serve? Maybe just to line up the bolts?
Also, there is minor rust around the bead in spots. I assume that I need to correct this or the tire may leak. Can this be done? What is the best way?
Thanks
Joe
17. Thanks for the advice. How do you find out what is still made by GM? Is there a book to get part numbers?
Thanks again,
Joe
