  12. Thanks for your reply. Using your information and a Google search confirms that you are, indeed, correct! I appreciate it.
  13. I found this rebuilt waterpump in a cache of '55 Thunderbird and '63 Valiant parts. I thought it might fit one or the other but have had no response on the Plymouth or Ford discussion forums. Perhaps someone here will recognize it. Thanks! tomchaney@att.net
  14. I've always felt that automobile styling took a nosedive when they started designing them on computers instead of with a pencil and paper. Somehow, the free spirit of art and fancy disappeared.
  15. I found this in a cache of parts for '63 Plymouth Valiant and '55 Thunderbird. I figure it fits one or the other but I don't know. Do you? tomchaney@att.net

    Model A Ford Rim

This is a wheel for a 1928-1929 Model A Ford. (Late '28...the early '28 wheels were slightly different.) It is commonly referred to...by model A people...as a 21" wheel (relating to the size of the tire.) Probably the best place to sell it is on eBay. It's probably worth $20-$30.
  19. I've always felt it was a good idea to store one's nuclear weapons in a separate area from one's collector cars. I keep my gas cans and garden pesticides in there also.
  20. This car is in truly dreadful condition but is solid and complete enough to warrant attention. Missing engine, transmission and lots of parts. Complete enough, however to be an ambitious restoration project, donor car or HOT ROD!? (I must admit, the thought occured to me) Here's a page of pictures 1933 LaSalle I bought this car years ago, then sold it to my brother who has since passed away. I am now helping his daughter sell it to resolve the estate. Asking $1000. Email me tomchaney@att.net with any questions. It's currently located in the San Diego area and you are encouraged to inspect it.

  25. Am wrestling with the task of disposing of a decades-old cache of parts from my parents home. Perhaps some of you with elderly catalogs can help me ID the following as to application: 1. Tong-Sol Flasher unit 12V part #322 (have a pile of these) 2. Republic (bearings?) part #ATP 4101 (apprears to be a bearing race or retainer) 3. Master Parts (of Fairfield, IL) NORS fuel pumps part #588M. THIS IS NOT AN OFFER TO SELL. As the residue of the estate, that task will be handled at another time. Thanks! Tom tomchaney@att.net
