  1. On the level, 20 feet from wall, back of garage,etc. Measure from floor to center of headlamp, mark this height on wall (piece of tape). Shine light, high beam to wall. Adjust beam to hit mark. Side to side is usually O.K. but stand at back center of car and eyeball, Beams should be straight ahead. High beams only, Low beams will lower and go to right, they take care of themselves.

  2. Suede is leather that has been buffed so that the surface is raised, cloth-like. Has a luxurious feel and look. The downside is that it matts down, gets dirty, wears faster than leather with a slick surface. Makes elegant clothing.

  3. Re the Chevy SSR which ceased production in the last few weeks. Was built in the same facility (Craft Center) as the Reatta. Was designed as a retractible hardtop convertible from the onset. Not a coupe cut off to make a convertible. The SSR was put on a frame, a truck chasis no less. One of the problem areas of the first year production was, what else, cowl shake. Looks like the General is a slow learner.
