  1. Here's another one for my fellow forum members who are truck enthusiast who may be looking for something not seen very often at your local shows. This truck belongs to a close friend of mine who asked me to post for sale on my website. He has always had a weak spot in his heart for early trucks manufactured from the late teens to mid-30's. He bought this truck earlier this year from a gentleman in New Jersey who spent a lot of time & money having it restored. Due to some health issues, he has decided to sell it. Offered price is not written in stone. Here is a partial description I posted on my website: Restored 1918 Selden Canopy Express Truck Features include: * Continental Motors four-cylinder engine* Manual transmission* Wood huckster-style body built by Amish craftsmen* Artillery style wheels* Solid rubber tires* Driveshaft with differential (Not a chain drive)* Side curtains "This rare example of a 1918 Selden truck was built in Rochester, New York and was originally used as a logging truck. This Selden was a true barn find, having been removed from one in upstate New York. The truck was restored by its immediate previous owner, which included having a new wood huckster-style body built by Amish craftsmen. It features a Continental Motors four-cylinder engine paired with a manual transmission. The truck is driven by a driveshaft with a differential. Included in the sale are side curtains which attach to the body for weather protection. This is a big and impressive early truck that has been nicely cared for. " If you are a vintage truck collector, this would make a nice addition to your collection. It would also make a good advertisement tool to market your business with. The mechanical condition is top notch along with the quality of the restoration. It has an interesting provenance in American automotive history. Please call Stuart @ 912-634-4949 for complete details & to make an appointment to view. This truck is currently located in the North Georgia mountains near the Georgia- North Carolina border. Reasonable delivery can be arranged by the owner within a 500 mile radius.Offered @ $28,900 To see additional photos, click on link below: 1918 Selden Canopy Express Truck photos Thanks for looking. 2. The leopard skin door panels were part of a special edition package offered by my dealership which also included the special paint finish shown in the photos at no extra cost. LOL
  3. Thank you for your input Bryan & I agree in most part with what you said. This forum is always a tough crowd to pitch a car for sale to but I value the many different opinions of our fellow forum member; that is why I joined back in 2001. The Kaiser is out of my usual realm of cars I market but it was part of a collection from a group of cars we purchased last month. A good portion these days of my collector car clientele are from out of the country. Many of them prefer the Barnyard finds & see it as a financial opportunity to take back to their country, restore over the Winter, & sell for a nice profit in the Summer. I am always amazed at what one man's junk is another man's treasure. The fact that this car is so intact, complete, & rust free, will make it attractive to someone. Many a collector actually prefer to buy in this condition & many car collectors from around the World are on the lookout in locating "orphan" cars similar in condition to this one. This is why I feel that $3,900 is a good price set for this car & I know from previous experiences if I spend a little time & money to get it going, it will bring considerably more. My thinking in posting to this forum was for anyone out there looking for a barnyard project might just jump at picking up this one.
  4. My resto guy who services the collection is confident it will run. Just have not had the time to mess with it; henceforth the low price I have offered it for takes in account it not currently running. If & when I do get it running & serviced, look for the price to be considerably higher. If you are one who likes to tinker, this car is an easy do. Don't miss this one. A good buy is waiting. Keep the nice comments coming. Stuart a/k/a Reatta Vice St. Simons Island, GA
  5. For any of my fellow forum members looking for a Barn Find Project. Below is the description posted on my website: 1951 Kaiser Deluxe 4-Dr. Sedan-This is a Diamond in the Rough Barn Find Project that is worth saving. We bought this car as part of an estate collection we found in the Mid-West. Previous owner parked in a building since early 80's. Car is complete, has a rust free body & undercarriage, & engine turns free. We have not tried to start it yet but most likely it will run with some fresh gas, points cleaned, & plugs replaced. It will need all the usual items looked after for a car that has been sitting for 30+ years. Plan on replacing tires, doing a brake & fuel system overhaul, exhaust system, etc. It will need paint & interior work if you decide to restore. It has a 6 cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Not many of these cars left. Please call Stuart @ 912-634-4949 for complete details. Car is located inside our storage building in Nashville, GA 31639 Buy it today for $3,900 To see additional photos click on link below: http://www.brandoncollection.com/vehicleimageall.aspx?cmb=0|266008227 |359457 Thanks for looking, Stuart a/k/a Reatta Vice St. Simons Island, GA

  7. OK, we survived & dodged a bullet with Hurricane Mathew last weekend here in beautiful St. Simons Island, GA. The entire county had mandatory evacuations but the storm took a last minute jog to the East & the damage that occurred was mostly confined to trees & downed power lines the trees fell on. No significant flooding which was thought to be a major concern happened. We were truly blessed that our beautiful island that is part of the Golden Isles here on the coast of Georgia was spared. A fellow AACA forum member & die hard Buick enthusiast came to my building last Tuesday in Nashville, GA where I currently have the Buick housed to take a look see. He is still undecided if this car is for him until he sees another car for sale he has interest in located down in S. Florida so the Formal Series 80 Sedan is still available for anyone looking for a new addition to their collection. If interested, give me a call. I will consider a trade so let me know what you have. Stuart a/k/a Reatta Vice 912-634-4949
  8. Appears to me it always has been a White car as far as I can tell. Can't be sure 100% it was born that way since there is no Heritage Certificate that accompanied the car when I purchased it. Just curious as to why you ask? Is not being the original color something that would prevent one from buying a British car if it did not have a British Heritage Certificate present as proof of original color?
  9. This baby Mike is not ready for the barn. It belongs in a big clean garage or museum collection.
  10. One more new acquisition from the Brandon Collection for my fellow forum members to see located in S. Georgia . Here is the description I posted on my website. 1962 Triumph Herald Convertible with 948 CC engine with dual SU carburetors.Exterior paint finished in Oxford White complemented by a Black vinyl interior & convertible top. Features include: * 948 CC overhead valve inline 4 cylinder engine with dual SU carburetors* 4-speed manual transmission* Independent suspension* White stripe radial tires* Front seat belts* Dual exterior mirrors* Jack & spare tire Here is a cute little British sports car you don't see come up for sale very often. This is a very early Herald convertible with the desirable 948cc dual carb engine. The Triumph Herald register currently lists only 63 948cc convertible cars surviving globally in their database out of the 8,258 948cc convertibles originally produced. We acquired this car from a British gentleman 80+ years young from Southern California. He owned the car from 2009 & drove it quite frequently. He reported that the engine had been overhauled by the previous owner he purchased it from. Judging by the way it runs, it most likely has. I just had the twin SU carbs overhauled professionally by National Carburetor Company in Jacksonville, FL. I have owned several Herald convertibles over the last 10 years & this one is the best driving one I ever had the pleasure to drive. It drives out quiet & smooth. Easy shifting transmission, sharp brakes, tight steering, with no engine overheating issues. It can carry 4 people in relative comfort when you consider how small the car really is. It can make a complete circle turnaround in a 25' radius. The tilt up bonnet encompasses the front fenders making for easy access to the engine bay. Please call Stuart @ 912-634-4949 for complete details. We are offering a fun to drive, inexpensive classic British sports car for entry level intro to the collector car hobby. This will be the ideal car for those on a bargain budget. So much fun for so little money. Offered @ $9,500 Click on the link below to see lots of photos: 1962 Triumph Herald MK I Photos Thanks for looking. Let me know your thoughts. These are really cool cars to tool around in. I really like it; I hope you do too. Stuart a/k/a Reatta Vice 912-634-4949 Beautiful St. Simons Island, GA

  12. Ok Fellow Buick Forum Members, it has been a while since I last posted a car for sale on the Buick Forum. You guys are a tough audience to pitch a car to but I always enjoy your comments. I know it is not a correct 100 point restoration but it's pretty darn nice for the price. Here is my latest edition offered for sale in S. Georgia from the Brandon Collection. Let me know what you think. It's a nice one! A Mopar restorer from W. Virginia took it in trade for one of his Mopar Wing cars from a collector in Pennsylvania. He had started the restoration & never completed it. The Mopar collector then got it completed to about 90% when I acquired it this past Summer. My restoration shop who services the collection just completed the restoration this month. It had still needed an exhaust system, headliner, some missing interior trim pieces, & some mechanical items sorted to complete the restoration. Here is the description I posted on my website: 1940 Buick Series 80 Limited Formal Sedan with divider window.Exterior paint presented in Black complemented by a Tan cloth interior. Features include: * 320 C.I. Overhead Valve Inline 8 cylinder engine* 3-speed manual transmission* Dual side mount spares with covers* Running boards* Hand crank up divider window glass* Wide White Wall Firestone bias ply tires* Radio, clock, & heater* 133" wheelbase* Rear suicide doors* Machine turned dashboardOne of just 270 Series 80 Formal Sedans produced in 1940. A comprehensive body off the frame restoration was just completed Sept. 2016. Overall we rate to be in #2 condition. It is recognized by the Classic Car Club of America as a "Full Classic" & eligible for participation in CCCA shows & Caravan touring events.. Best of all, it is priced very realistically @ just $34,900 when you take into consideration all the expense, time, & effort it takes to restore a car today to this level. Click on the link below to see lots of photos: 1940 Buick Limited Series 80 Formal Sedan Photos Thanks for looking. Keep the nice comments coming. 16. OK fellow forum members, here is my last car I'm posting on the forum today for sale. I bought it a couple of years back & finally got it refurbished to where I can sell it now. Take a look & let me know what you think. It's a rare one you don't see come up for sale very often. I really like it & I'm hoping some of you Mopar enthusiast out there will to. Below is the description I posted on my website: 1950 Chrysler New Yorker Series C49-2 Newport 2-Dr. Hardtop just extensively refurbished. Features include: * 324 C.I. L-Head inline 8 cylinder engine * Semi-automatic transmission * Wide white wall tires (5) * Radio, clock, & heater * Front & rear bumper guards' * Back up lights * Jack & spare tire If you are a regular follower of our website, you may recall we featured this car earlier this year in our barn finds & projects section of our website. We decided that since the body & undercarriage were so solid & the engine & transmission were already rebuilt by the previous owner, we would go ahead & spend the time & effort it takes to refurbish the car to a nice #3 driver quality condition. We removed the chrome & stainless, stripped the paint & applied new base / coat clear coat black paint, sent out both bumpers to be re-plated, reupholstered both driver & passenger seats, door panels, re-padded the dashboard, new carpet, & replaced the old worn out steering wheel with a NOS Chrysler steering wheel. In addition we put a brand new set of 4 Coker Classic Wide White Wall tires, all new trunk liner, & some other misc. items I can't remember. The engine bay still needs to be detailed. Mechanically we did a brake overhaul, complete exhaust replacement, & reinstalled the engine & transmission that was previously taken out of the car by the last owner. The Newport was the top of the line New Yorker series for 1950. If my memory is correct, I believe this was the 1st year that Chrysler offered a 2-Dr. Hardtop in their line up. We feel that we priced the car very realistically @ just $18,900 when you take into consideration all the refurbishments that were just completed. 17. Hello again my fellow forum members. Going through my old posts & guess what. I still have this '51 Coupe DeVille & it is still being offered for the same low price of $21,900 in case you did not see it in my previous post. I have no idea why it is still not sold. I am guessing the low price I have it listed for is scaring people away. Maybe I need to raise it to stir up some new interest. (LOL) Well, I can't lower the price today any further than it is already but I will consider trading it up or down so PM me & tell me what you got. I got the itch for something new.
