Correctly restored in the late 80’s, looks and runs great. The star of the show wherever it goes! Many pictures available. $29,500.00. 651-436-1162 Mn.
This car is a 1931 Model A Ford convertible sedan model 400a, commonly know as the A-400. The color is George Washington Blue, with Riviera Blue painted belt and reveals. The pinstripe and wheels are Tacoma cream. The top and boot are Tan canvas. The interior is the correct pattern, color, and material, that being a combination of leather and leatherette. The carpets front and rear are the correct tan with brown binding. The upholstery and top were manufactured by the LeBaron-Bonney company of Mass. This car was restored in the ‘80s and has been well maintained since. It is a very late 1931 chassis, having serial #4813539. The body, #4884, corresponds with the late chassis number. There were only 5,085 of the A-400 made, and approx. 350 exist, not all restored. It is truly a rarity wherever it goes, and is the star of the car show, whether at a Model A meet or any general auto show. The public reaction is astounding, and this car has won several spectators’ choice awards. These are truly one of the most beautiful Model A’s made. I am the owner of this Model A, and have driven it over 3000 miles. There have been no problems. It is ready to go. This car was restored approximatly 15 years ago and is in overall excellent condition. There are a couple of very minor paint chips and scuffs. The wheels have some rock chips. There are also a couple of changes from stock; the alternator will be replaced with the correct generator. The ignition switch is not the pop out style. Other than those two items, the car is essentially correct and origim
nal for late 1931. The chassis could use a good detail cleaning. There is some minor paint flaking around the gas cap. I have additional pictures of these items if anyone is interested.

jgp400@cs.com
