Can someone identify this rearend for me? It has an aluminum pumpkin. It had wire wheels on it and I thought the little plates on the hubcaps said Oakland but they may very well have said Franklin. It has been a long time.
Thanks ,
Robert

That is a good idea.

What would you give?

It had a set of wire spoke wheels on it and the name plate on the hubcap said "Oakland" so I just figured it was an Oakland. But it could be a Franklin I suppose???
Thanks, Robert

I have posted this a few times with no results. I really don't know where else to post this. If anyone has any ideas I am all ears. I have an incomplete set of Buffalo wire spoke wheels size H4. I am short one wheel center. It has 66 spokes. I have included a picture of a good one. To view this click on "attachment" above this email.
Thanks for any help,

Hi, Thanks for the info. I think the model T Ford uses a number three type. The one I need is an H4 which is probably a size up from the model T. The picture I included has a measurement so anyone that may have one can measure it to be sure it is the right one.
Thanks for the reply,
Robert

I have an almost complete set of wire spoke wheels. {Look at picture) They are the H4's with 66 spokes, The hubcap fits to the inside of the wheel center. I believe there are two wheel centers that will fit on the same hub, mine is the smaller of the two. I need a 66 spoke wheel center. I have parts to trade for the right one. rp15@mindspring.com
Please email me if you have anything to offer.

Does anyone have a center for a Buffalo wheel like the one I have attached to this post? The size is a B4. Check out the attached picture. It has 22 spokes on the outside and 44 on the inside for a total of 66.
Thanks,
Robert

I have a set of Buffalo Wires on my Packard 1921. There are little round plates inserted in the wheel locking nuts that have the word "Packard" in raised letters (script). Is there a supplier for these little plates. They are about the size of a half dollar and are made of brass. I would also be interested in NOS ones if available.
Thanks ,
Robert

Where could I find a top kit for an older packard roadster? Does anyone make them ??
Thanks, Robert
-
Yes Sir. They have caps on the top that you screw off to expose the tire valve for airing up the shocks (air springs)
Do you know anything about them?

Hello, Does anyone know anything about "WestingHouse Air Shocks"? Has anyone ever worked on them? Are they complicated? I have a set on my car and wander if they were very popular and if they were a good accessory? Any and all information would be appreciated. The car is a 1921 model, I didn't even know they had air shocks back then.
Thanks

I've got a 1921 Runabout. Where can I get all the information needed to help restore it? It is unrestored. Like where can I get a top kit for it. The old one is pretty much gone. Thanks for any directive with this old car.
