    1910 era side Handbrake - What make? Franklin?

    I just posted an early side Handbrake on eBay but have no idea what it came from. It has the numbers 377E on base. Someone might know fron style of lettering. Which you can see on auction photos. I'll update information - so perhaps someone looking will find it with correct make.

    One AACA Member thought it might be from a later Franklin. ??

    Kruse Auction Dec 15th 2006 Texas - Going?

    If anyone one is going to the Kruse auction, I would like to find out who bought car #757, perhaps what it sold for & if anyone was will any photographs... of most interest are striaght on fender shots, front, rear - side views. Would really like shot of rear apron between rear fenders. Yah, it's the Chitty car.... - Thanks - drop me an Email.

    Thanks all & Ivan,

    I'll give the bending a try and see how it goes. If it fails I may be searching for a brass spider to fit an outside diameter wood wheel of 17 1/4". Think the inside diameter is 14 1/4". Of couse if someone has one out there that looks simular to the images I posted under the "Attachment " link at the beginning of the tread, it will save me the hardship.

    Thanks Ivan, The spider now is about an inch too large for the 17 1/4" wood rim. Bending it would match the shape I'm looking for and make it fit the correct size wood rim. (see image) I might concider a smaller rim if there's a risk of damaging the spider...or look for bigger spider. Amish contacts welcome! ...if someone cares to visit with a wireless laptop...

    If I heat up to dull red, let cool, bend. Do I need to worry about strength afterwards? Heat and dunk afterwards?

    I have a old cast brass steering spider that I need to bend the spokes to both match shape and luckly reduce the diameter size. Before I start in bending I wondered what is the best way to bend the brass. Should I heat each spoke with a tourch and bend them, or bend them cold..or? I just don't want to risk cracking the metal. Bending techniques are welcome also. ..vise, beat, etc. - Thanks for your advice! (photo attached...may be under "Attachment" above)

    Hello, Can anyone suggest someone to get ahold of for Right hand drive 1957 -1964 f100 Ford parts? I just need the two steering arms that bolt onto the rear of the spindles. I have an image at:

    Hello,

    I'm converting a 1959 Ford f100 truck front axle to Right Hand Drive. I want to find out if Ford f100 parts used in RHD counties, UK,AU, NZ will bolt right in for me. Does anyone have any diagrams of RHD f100's? (57-64 should be same parts)

    I have some images I put together by flopping the LHD images of what I need + the tie rod bolt hole needs to be on the right arm. Leads for the parts helpful also.

    I am converting a 1959 (I think 57-64 may be the same) Ford F100 front axle from LHD to Right hand drive.

    I'm looking for the two steering arms that bolt onto the rear of the backing plates. I'm hoping they made RHD f100's during 57-64.

    The current (LHD) part numbers are 3130C, 3131D. Any info on places to contact are welcome also.

    Will also be looking for small steering box. The Vega box turns the wrong way...but correct size!

    Wanted...& Help. I'm looking for rear simular to axle pictured in the B&W images. I building/reproducing a car that was built as a custom car in the late 1960's. It had a Ford V6 engine & C4 tranny, but I'm not sure where the rear end came from. Looks like a 9" Ford, but the center "pumpkin" seems smaller. I may use a [color:"red"]1976-77 Ford Bronco as it's the correct lentgh. I need about 57" drum to drum, If I can't find the one pictured.

    1926 Ford Model T Touring For Sale

    1926 Model T Ford Touring 4dr convertible. Great project car, still needs a few parts to bolt on, and bolted together...New upholstery and new radiator core. Car is in primer and black paint. It ran up until put into storage. Has a 1925 rear end. Was going to swap rear end years ago but interests changed. Rear end replaced without u-joint for fast assembly to roll and steering needs work, assembly. About 95% complete with a few spare parts, body pretty good shape. Have top bows with new wood installed. Tire carrier. Fenders are fiberglass front & right rear, left rear is metal. Have two sets of metal front fenders that go along with car if wanted that will need restoration or you can now buy new metal ones (that where not available 30 years ago.) Stored past 25 years in dry garage. Engine turns over freely. $5900.     Does Reno NV Swap Meet still have brass Era Parts?

    Was thinking about attending Reno NV swap meet in August to locate (hopefully) some brass era parts, side lamps, side hand brake /gear shifter, etc. - I have not been to the Reno (Sparks) meet for about 20 years. Just don't want to drive five hours to mostly (or should I say , "all") 50's era, or hot rod items. Has anyone been there in the past few years? If you have parts let me know also...
