I've been going through items at my parents home as we are getting ready to sell it and have come across several unique items that actually belonged to my grandfather who owned and operated a tire shop in Fort Smith, AR from 1945 until the early-mid 70s. This sign apparently hung in the shop and I can't find any info online about it. It is metal and in pretty good shape with lightly worn patina but does have a few light crinkles. It measures 28" wide x 20" tall. Does anyone know what it was used for? What do the numbers mean on the lower right? Any idea of year it was made? Any idea on a value? Thanks for your help!
