  1. Thank you for all the input, will update when I tackle the brake.
  2. Does anyone know what size woven lining I need, or how to replace them with the rivets? The car is new to me and I’m not very confident in the brakes.
  3. Thank you for the wiring diagram. It helped a lot. Got all the lights working. Took the ignition light switch apart after labeling and repairing wiring. Sanded and cleaned contacts and reassembled. Everything comes on and works now, only odd thing is if you let the switch fall into place it turns off, if you leave the switch just prior to each drop location it is fine???
  4. This car took on a full restoration in 1986. It’s been sitting in a museum since about 88’. That’s where we got it. it has a broken door pull on the drivers side. I’ve attached a picture of the broken one and the passenger side good one. I haven’t been able to find the part anywhere. Had a Bobs Automobilia catalog and nothing there. Any thought on fixing it or how to get one and how to install a new one.
  5. Just wanted to introduce ourself. Mark and Shaina. We just recently acquired this Buick and are working out some small issues but have already found a lot of the answers here. So thank you.
  6. Thank you. I do believe it has a circuit breaker. I just briefly looked behind it and I have a copy of the wiring diagram. I will let you know what happens. Thanks again!!
  7. We just acquired a very nice 1923 Buick 4 38 and there seems to be an issue in the wiring to the head lamps and other lighting. They will momentarily turn on and then turn off or not come on at all with the switch. I was thinking of pulling the switch and redoing all the wires going in? Does anyone have any other ideas?
