  1. I loved those. And yes. They were driven usually by d bags back then. But I was a sucker for that sticker performance
  2. I would say if someone was that thin skinned then perhaps the internet isn’t for them.
  3. I think it’s just meant to be funny since the reasoning isn’t anything but emotional. Hopefully people take it humor and aren’t thin skinned. I daily a BMW so I’m use to an emotional hatred for my car 😊
  4. There aren’t many. But one would be the Citroen 2cv. It’s just horrible. The styling was outdated before the fist one was made. I can put run it. It’s not quirky in a fun French way. It’s just dumb. did I say I didn’t like it?
  5. You are correct. It has the 3.8. Which I found out was standard in ca. It fires right up and really drives nice. Transmission doesn’t slip. It really feels like a time capsule. I added an interior shot
  6. I wanted to get into the classic car hobby but thought baby steps with something inexpensive, reliable and easy to repair was the way to go. This lead me down a road that I’ve always enjoyed for some reason - the malaise personal luxury coupe. Don’t get me wrong. A 66 gto or a 70 big block SS would be killer. But malaise cars were always interesting to me. And certainly more affordable. my goal was to hopefully to find something a little less common. The big Marks and eldos and Roadmasters are somewhat plentiful. But when was the last time you saw an 86 Lesabre coupe? One year only front end. Clamshell hood. Velour galore and an entire forest of plastic trees harvested for the “wood” trim. I found this car locally. 94k miles. Bought new by the typical Lesabre buyer back then - an older female. Car was loved and serviced at the dealer. It came with a ton of receipts. It is in really great shape and to me was a fantastic example of what it is. The interior velour is like Kevlar.
  7. They appear to have the bezel. I also ordered another part that I think is wrong. But the bezel was the main thing. Once I get it in I’ll post a pic. Hopefully it gets here in one piece
  8. Thank you for putting that list together! I’ll follow up on them
  9. Thank you! I always say to people “when was the last time you saw one”. Especially the coupe. Those you never see. The grill and quad headlights are one year only. Which is a big reason I bought it. I think it really says “1980s”.
  10. Thanks. I did search there and put my info in if they ever come up with one. I do have a lead on one. Hopefully that comes through
  11. Thanks. It’s a coupe. Making it a bit more uncommon. I’m glad you appreciate it
  12. Thank you for the lead. Unfortunately they don’t have it.
  13. Just entered the older car hobby with a a1986 Lesabre coupe. Lots of velour. Not lots of power. Just as it was in the 80s
  14. I’m looking for the plastic wood trim that goes around the hvac and radio for a 86 Lesabre limited.
