This may be this finest original, low mileage Oldsmobile f35 Business Coupe, anywhere. I had inquired about this car back in the 1980’s, when The Blackhawk Collection had procured it from a California dealership. This coupe had been in the showroom, from new, and had 384 actual miles on it, at that time. I inquired about this car and The Blackhawk Collection sent me a letter and 8”x10” black & white glossy of the car, but I was just starting out in business at that time and the price was more than I could bear. I still have the letter and the photo. I had to let it go, until an ad appeared in an issue of Old Cars Weekly about 15 years ago. The ad read: 1935 f35 Oldsmobile, six cylinder, low mileage, and a phone number, of course. I called and reached a kind old gentleman, in Vermont. I asked him if it was blue. He said yes and told me had purchased the car, twenty ago, or so, because he had owned the same model car when he got out of the service and courted his wife. He had bought the car from Leo Gephart. At this time the car had 1,000 miles on the odometer. He told me he and his wife would drive the car once around his town once a year. This car now has 1,023 miles on the odometer. It is a pristine survivor. From the all original paint and interior fabric, to the rubber on the running boards and the embossed aluminum door sills, it is flawless! This car has always been indoor stored and has never been in inclement weather. The doors open and close like new, door alignment and gaps are perfect. This car is as nice underneath as from above! This 1935 Oldsmobile Business Coupe is so nice and original that it only rests, under a soft cover, in my heated warehouse, for the last 15 years. $75,000 or serious offer.
