  1. Hi Gene, Looking for Riviera two bar wires like you have. Clean dent pit free. Do you have any V4 SD 66-70? I restore both types so I don't mind cleaning painting polishing. I can pull most light dents and minor rash in the V4 SDs. But not in the wires. The wire outer rims need to be dent free. Shoot me some asking prices will go from there with some pics. PM if you dont want it public. TX Steve
  2. Hi Ken, This Riv wire cap still available? I believe I purchased that V4 SD 2 bar from you last year. How about a good A & B horn? TX Steve
  3. Ya I did take note of that peculiar location. More conducive to back seat occupants unlocking it versus front passengers. Today that'd be a recall...lol. Nobody was concerned with locking doors back in the golden design era. Design was king no big deal...Just a simple update revision for 67. Everything older is better...for the most part.
  4. Interesting one-year wonders. Tx Guys.
  5. Hi All, Can someone enlighten me on the door panel differences in the attached pics? As Im looking through the ads Im seeing two interior door panel styles. I am aware of the bucket vs bench option. Is there a difference between GS and regular Riviera interiors or is there a Deluex interior option?? Can anyone elaborate on what Im looking at? I'm looking at getting into a low mile 66 or maybe a 67 GS. TX Steve
  6. Interested in the V4 SD 2 bar spinner. Just 1? TX Steve
  7. 66 is the best. It weighs the most too at ~8.5lbs.
  8. 66-70 are the exact same cap except for the 2 bar spinner on the 66 and the flat center on the 70. in order 66, 67-69, and 70. I restore these. I'm always looking for good damage rust & pit-free parts or whole caps. Finding undented un-rashed outer rims is a challenge to find. I can pull most of the dents I can get to on the backside. These 3 are restored. All 3 had dented rashed rims. The 2-bar spinner assembly is NOS. Does anyone know of a good source for reproduced R medallions?
  9. Got any of these? Or these, NOS or VG condition?
  10. Ed do you offer these center medallions? With or without the chrome bezel?
  11. Ed no I did not source the studs. Was just curious about what they looked like. I don't have the car to mount them on lol. Working on that. I saw this NOS 63 RPO N9 cast cap and had to add it to the cave collection. Still, haven't had anyone answer the question as to how to properly remove the center cap on the N9s (cast) to get at the lug nuts on the roadside. Did the 63/64s have a special tool for removal to not damage the cast? It's a delicate surface and not enough of a gap to get a sharp screwdriver in there. I collect unique NOS and near NOS caps. Anything from the mid-60s to early 70s with the heavy cast center sections. I have 16 V4/SD/P02s. 5 PO2s are NOS. Those are going on my 68 Vette. I have a really nice 66 2 bar V4/SD. The 2 bar piece is NOS on a nice cap. I restore the turbine finned V4/SD/P02s. I can pull small dents out of the stainless ring. Kill the rust on the backer ring, I can clean up the cast fins nicely(starting with a nice example). I've figured out the right sheen on the black paint. The Riv center medallions are hard to find in nice shape. The chrome bezel is reproduced. The round one. The 2 bar is not, The 2 bar medallion is very hard to find. Corvette bezels and medallions are reproduced. I'm trying to get Trim Parts to sell just the bezels. Currently, they will not. The whole assembly with the Vette cross flags is $80. The medallions can be removed and swapped with Rivieras. I saw the NOS 63 RPO N9 cast cap on eBay and had to have it. My wife wasn't happy about spending 300 on a hubcap...oh wait I don't have a wife...lucky me I can spend all I want. I'm zeroing in on a 66 GS before my time on this spinning ball of dirt ends. Garage space first.
  12. Its a 2 page word doc. I could try to snip it.
  13. Bob, You bought it! Good for you. You only live once I'm glad you went for it. The pictures you sent show a very clean car. Put any miles on it yet? Agreed the 64 SS hubcaps are impossible to find in nice shape. Just like the Riv cast caps. The SS caps cast/chrome center is always pitted and the galvanized ring on the back is always rusty and can be seen from the front of the cap. Might want to do something to prevent that? I have a great word document I pass along to a new(old) car buyers. But this site wont let me upload a simple word doc. Cant convert it to a jpeg? Ill send it to your email. This lap top is 10 yrs old. Steve
  14. No worries...Thanks for the response! Steve
  15. Ahh got it now. A little thick after a long work day. TX Guys Steve
