  1. I sent my brake shoes to Porterfield to be relined, they offer 3 different compounds, all performance minded. I had them use the RD-4 compound for me, as it is supposed to be street friendly and the easiest on the drums. They bonded and riveted the linings and arched them to my drum diameters. Hopefully I will get them installed this spring. For the single reservoir master cylinder, I had it relined with brass and rebuilt by White Post Restoration.
  2. I need one of the old style, 3 piece Mallory ignition coil brackets that fit the 6000 "BEST" coils. It is for a driver not a show car, so looking for something reasonable priced even if I need to refinish it. Thanks!! ⁿ What i am looking for should look like these
  3. Bumper 3, lower bumper in picture: Rear bumper, no brackets, no guards. Good straight bumper mild corrosion. I am sure it will need a few pit repairs on the frontside, but nowhere as bad as the front bumper. $400+ship
  4. Bumper 2, Upper bumper in picture: rear Bumper, no brackets, no guards. This one has the nicest chrome of the 3, almost good enough for a driver, but has rust spots coming through one one end. It also has been in a collision and shows a wave on one side. The mounting points for the bumper brackets also seem bent up. $400+ ship
  5. Up for sale, I have three LaSalle bumpers. They are all from 1939-1940 models. I am not intimately familiar with LaSalle cars, so I do not know if there are minor differences between body styles. If so, let me know what to measure or photograph closer for you. Each bumper is available separately, or u am happy to sell them together for a discounted price. I am happy to ship, to you, or directly to your chrome shop of choice. I am going to get one packed up so we can have a rough idea of shipping cost this week. I will most likely have to remove the bumper brackets from the front bumper. Local pickup is also available in Lynchburg, VA. I am new here, but have tons of good feedback on other forums and ebay, that I am happy to provide as needed. Also happy to talk on the phone, just PM me and I will provide you with what you need to buy with confidence. Email Jonathan.Sonne@proton.me Payment is accepted via Zelle, PayPal, Post office money order, personal check or cash in person--but check and POMO must be received and cleared before shipping. please message with any offers, or questions!! Bumper 1: Front bumper, with brackets. Missing bumper guards. Chrome is pitted, front and back. Bumper does not look to be deformed, but will likely have a number of pits that need repair prior to rechroming. $300+ship
  6. Sold! Included is one aftermarket main cluster, OEM # 853885 Universal # WT 243-8 with tooth count 32-25-19-14 One Mopar original second gear # 692687 with 23 teeth, measures 1.5008 thick One aftermarket second gear # T86-11C with 23 teeth measures 1.49875 thick Having an extra second gear should help your transmission builder set your gearbox up with the ideal endplay. SOLD I would like $200, shipped for these. I accept PayPal, Zelle, USPS Money orders, personal checks and silver (at agreed upon rate) New here, but have years of feedback on other forums, happy to PM details as needed. Stock replacement for all 1940 Mopar manual three speeds. Great upgrade for '41-56 three speeds. Clean and ready. Does your '41-56 Mopar feel like you have two first gears and third? Due to a difference in driving habits and Mopar's heavy use of fluid drive, they changed the second gear ratio in 1941 to make it easier to take off in second. That way people could feel more "luxurious " in the pre-automatic transmission world, shifting and using the clutch less, if at all. For years Hot Rodders and racers like George Asche have swapped in these 'Fast' second gears, with the 1940 ratio, for a sportier feeling transmission. Most of the other gear sets for sale are caked in grease and dust so you don't know what you are getting. This one has been cleaned, so you can see that you aren't getting pitted junk. I was planning on using these myself, but am using a BW overdrive instead. Located in Lynchburg Va. Private message me here for email and phone number.
  7. I believe this is some sort of windshield frame, maybe from a Convertible. 50.5" wide at the base. Fairly lightly built. Any ideas? Thank you
  8. I recently picked up a pallet of bumpers at an estate sale, I am hoping to identify they so that they can go to people who need them. Per the rules, I will post each separately and number each title. I believe this one is 1960s or later European, no markings I could find. Around 66" long, fairly light and thin. It has several weld repairs under the chrome, must have been worth rechromeing at some point in the past. Thank you all for your help!
  9. Seems very similar to a 32-33 Hudson rear bumper, but can't find any clear picture of the brackets.
  10. Looks like a great match to me! Thank you!
