  1. I was able to replace the blower motor on my 1972 Riviera without removing the hood bracket or inner fender! The trick that I discovered is to lower the motor down into the fender, then I flipped it over the support brace near the starter. The whole replacement may have taken 30 minutes max. (I did this a few years ago, thus I can't remember if I had to remove the blower wheel from motor before lowering the motor into the fender.)
