  1. I am friends with the members of the band Gaelic Storm (the party band in the steerage section} that 1912 Renaut was a thing of beauty! Rose and Jack got frisky in the Back. I saw the prop Renaut when the Titanic Exhibit was in Realigh the tITANIC
  2. I am friends with the members of the band Gaelic Storm (the party band in the steerage section). That 1912 Renaut was a thing of beauty! Rose and Jack got frisky in the Back. I saw the prop Renaut when the Titanic Exhibit was in Raleigh NC. If I remember right, it was a beautiful maroon, like our (my Dad and I)1919 America LaFrance type 75, registry 2772. Sadly, we sold the truck before the speedster craze hit.
  3. Ah, the wonders of the internet! I searched Bugatti 587 and it popped up. I compared the 1913 Bugatti on Leno's garage. Both cars have a signature engine. My computer is having a bad hair day. I could not get in to bugattiregister.com I paid the car a visit every time I went to Zimmerman's Automobilorama. It sure looks good!
  4. I went back to my old photos. Does anybody know what happened to the 1910(?) Bugatti? I think it was miss dated
  5. Wow! You are correct. I went back to have another look at my photos. The auction photo shows it was replaced at some time
  6. Zimmerman's Tucker was a thing of beauty. 1049 went to auction in 2016. The third headlight was real. if you search zimmerman automobilorama everything pops up. Then search Tucker. YOUTUBE has tucker videos. The Tucker club knows where every Tucker is. My Dad and I spent hours at the automobilorama. He put a nickel in ever nickelodeon and recorded them. Me, I wander among the cars taking photographs. It didn't matter how often you went, there was something new or something you never noticed before.
  7. I have been a car nut since I was 10 years old, My Dad introduced me to an old-time racing mechanic. Art Gray had a barn full of World War One aircraft engines. He knew the Dusenberg brother, before they moved to Indy He was a riding mechanic in the early days of racing. He crewed for Gar Wood, when Gar was setting water speed records. we would argue MERCER VS. STUTZ for hours. He knew the bore and stroke of all the automobile and aircraft engines. but was impressed by the Cadillac overhead valve V-16.
  8. Me, Fred again. I have an HP510 connected to an Epson Perfection V500 Photo scanner. I have done enough.
