  1. Hi Simon, the bronze discs in our transmission are the six finger type. There are two of them sandwiching a plain steel disc. On the outer wear ring of the bronze discs I’m measuring about 2.9 mm thickness. Do I understand correctly that two of your discs replace each of the original discs? Thanks for your interest, Lee Doud
  2. Hi Simon, I think I am going to need clutch discs because the car will hardly go in reverse. Any slight incline and it absolutely won’t move. I’m in the process of removing the tranny. Let me get it out and apart and I’ll get back to you. Sorry I missed your reply.
  3. I’m rebuilding a Kingston 5 ball carburetor and I understand the scallop under the hex ball caps should point to the center of the carburetor. After playing musical chairs with the caps for an hour and a half I can only get two to line up properly. Can the misfits be shimmed to achieve the proper alignment? The carb goes on a one cylinder brush. Also, their was a light spring on top of one of the balls. Is that a vintage speed secret? I would greatly appreciate any help or references. Thanks much.
