look for 265 motor for my 52 Windsor deluxe on the west coast. also looking for the turn signal lens for drivers side. Thanks in advanced.

Finally took my newly acquired Windsor on a longer journey (100 miles round trip). Drove for about 45 mins on the freeway then got off and stopped at a red light. I started in LOW from the light and the car wouldn't shift into the next gear and I skipped and went into DRIVE. when I heard it clunk like it shifted then it shifted again, had to skip second the rest of the way and go straight into drive. The questions I'm asking is what could be causing this as it only did it when the car had warmed up. The second question is should I even be starting in low, the previous owner said to start in low and then go into drive. I cant even get the thing to move in drive from a dead stop without it wanting to die. Were also struggling to find front shocks for the car.

Ended up getting all the turn signals working. Kinda helps if they actually had bulbs in them. Apparently the previous owner had done the front brakes but not the rear. Got too hot out and we called it a day.

looked at the car and ended up buying it. The only thing I don't understand is previous owner said one day the brake fluid was low so he added some now the taillights and turn signals don't work. when you turn the battery on the driver side brake light will come on for a second then turn off. had one reverse light while backing off the trailer for a second but not the whole time.

I'm actually supposed to go look at this car, Never owned one what are something I should be looking for that would make me turn and run.
