  1. Jeff, as I said, I know nada about Peerless, but I originally posted this here because some chap named Jeff Brown mentioned this transmission designation in his Dec 11, 2015 post concerning the upcoming sale of Bob DeBone's 1930's parts. No skin off my butt either way - just thought it might be of interest to you Peerless collectors. If and when anyone expresses a restoration interest or anything other than an academic expert shot across my admittedly inexpert bow, including any identifying marks or characteristics which would distinguish a Peerless vs other maker's version, I'll ask my son to relocate it to check. Otherwise, it will remain another rusting forest object only potentially useful as a boat anchor.
  2. My son found this T-74-1 transmission in the woods of Oregon. I am an antique Benz guy, and know nothing whatsoever about Peerless. Can anyone here advise whether this is likely to be of interest to anyone. Will try to get photos of casing, marked "T-74-1" over "W. G. Co" over "N". Top shifter is in place, as are both front and rear shafts and drain plug, so it may have remained intact and watertight, despite having likely removed for some good mechanical failure reason. Is this of any value to Peerless collectors for parts? Please advise.
