    After checking my parts manual it appears as though they may be the same. It would have to be for a series 40 or 50. Do you know what series tranny it is?

    Wondering if anyone can tell me what size radial tires I can use on my 41 Buick Special. It has factory 16 inch rims. I am looking for basic radial tires I am not interested in bias tires or bias looking radials they are just way to expensive .

    I do have a rubber hose connected from the sending unit to the fuel line. So it is looking more likely that it is a ground issue. Thanks for the help Neil with an i .

    There wasn’t any wiring at the fuel tank when I bought the car, the tank was in poor condition

    I have a 41 Buick special I just replaced entire harness front to back. I installed a brand new fuel tank and sending unit. For some reason the fuel gauge goes to full when ignition switch is turned on even though tank is completely empty. Any thoughts?
